ECOTREAT CLARITY PRO
PHOTO GALLERY 1
These series of photographs, taken by a customer, are a good example of how it can take time using naturally based products, to achieve the desired results. The treatment instructions included a requirement to remove manually as much of the blanketweed as possible. This was necessary for two reasons:
(a) to give Clarity Pro the best chance of achieving a rapid result
(b) if the blanketweed had been left in the pond, it would have biodegraded. This process would consume significant amounts of dissolved oxygen, thus reducing the concentration of oxygen in the water. A lower concentration of dissolved oxygen could have placed the health of the fish in danger.
JUNE 2002
The photograph on the left shows how bad the blanketweed is -
look at how thick the blanketweed is,
wrapped around the stick (above the heron's head).
JULY 2002
A dramatic improvement.
The water is becoming much clearer.
The cause of the "bubbles" on the surface is unknown,
but maybe a by-product of the biodegradation of the residual blanketweed.
SEPTEMBER 2002
A complete success. Compare these photographs to the ones taken
just over 3 months ago.
Also the "bubbles" have reduced considerably as the
blanketweed has died back.
